  Hello, few times ago, i asked how to do to display datas per month, i must told a bad explanation because i just figured out that it's not what i want : Here's what I got : $req1 = ... AND v.date > (DATE_SUB(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 2 MONTH)) AND v.date < (DATE_SUB(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 1 MONTH)) $req2= ... AND v.date > (DATE_SUB(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 3 MONTH)) AND v.date < (DATE_SUB(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 2 MONTH)) But the problem, imagine that today you are the 10th june, it's going to calculate ALL the data between the 10 june to the 10 may then the 10 may until the 10 april... But what i want is data : from 1st may to 1 st june, from 1st june to 1st july... do you see what i mean ? thank you ;)

From the main window I can launch sub-windows, but in these sub-windows I can't seem to access the data I collected in the main window. How can I access this data? Or, how can I send this data to the sub-window on creation? • C# algorithm for figuring out different possible combinations...

  I have 10 boxes, each box can hold one item from a group/type of items, each 'group' type only fits in one of the 10 box types. The pool can have n number of items. The groups have completely distinct items. Each item has a price, i want an algorithm that will generate all the different possibilities, so i can figure out different price points. so a smaller picture of the problem BOX A - can have item 1,2,3,4 in it BOX B - can have item 6,7,8,9,10,11,12 BOX C - can have item 13,15,16,20,21 The items are stored in a db, they have a column which denotes which box they can go in. All box types are stored in an array, and I can put the items in a generic list. Anyone see a straightforward way to do this. I have tried doing 10 nested foreach's to see if i could find a simpler way. The nested loops will take MANY hours to run. the nested for each's basically pull all combinations, then calculate a rank for each combination, and store the top 10 ranked combination of items for output

My loops looks like this: if (timet == currenttime) { timet = convert(timet) } Whenever I check the value of timet it should equal 1:04, however I get the correct value at the first run after the execution of convert, however every time after that my timet value is blank. I tried changing the code instead of using the if loop. I only run the convert function when I send for example t through the serial monitor. This works fine and outputs the correct timet after the execution of the convert function, So I figured the problem is in the if loop... Any ideas?

(This JSON is dynamically created via PHP, so I could craft a PHP function that could possibly do this more efficently), or am I completely missing something about how to find items in a JSON object? As always, any suggestions for improving the code are welcome! EDIT: I apologize for not making this clear, but the purpose of this question is to find a way to improve the performance. The page has a lot of javascript, and this is a location where I know that performance is lower than it could be.

• Received memory warning on setimage

  This problem has completely stumped me. This is for iOS 5.0 with Xcode 4.2 What's going on is that in my app I let user select images from their photo album and I save those images to apps document directory. Pretty straight forward. What I do then is that in one of the viewController.m files I create multiple UIImageViews and I then set the image for the image view from one of the picture that user selected from apps dir. The problem is that after a certain number of UIImage sets I receive a "Received memory warning". It usually happens when there are 10 pictures. If lets say user selected 11 pictures then the app crashes with Error (GBC). NOTE: each of these images are at least 2.5 MB a piece. After hours of testing I finally narrowed down the problem to this line of code [button1AImgVw setImage:image]; If I comment out that code. All compiles fine and no memory errors happen. But if I don't comment out that code I receive memory errors and eventually a crash. Also note it does process the whole CreateViews IBAction but still crashes at the end. I cannot do release or dealloc since I am running this on iOS 5.0 with Xcode 4.2 Here is the code that I used.   I have a 2 dimensional array forming a table: [color][number][shape ] ------------------------- [black][10 ][square ] [black][10 ][circle ] [red ][05 ][triangle] [red ][04 ][triangle] [green][11 ][oval ] and what I want to do is group largest common denominators, such that we get: 3 groups group #1: color=black, number=10, shapes = [square, circle] group #2: color=red, shape=triange, numbers = [05,04] group #3: color=green, number=11, shape = oval I wrote code that will handle a 2 "column" scenario, then I needed to adjusted it for 3 and I was figuring I might as well do it for n. I wanted to check first if there is some literature around this but I can't think of what to start looking for!

• failure on creating a Scikits.TimeSeries object

  Hi All I am trying to create a scikit.timeseries object starting from 2 datetime objects. If I understood correctly it should be possible to create a scikits.timeseries starting from datetime objects. I try the following code but it says that Insufficient parameters. The 2 datetime differs for few microseconds. In this case what should be the value for freq parameter? Is what I am trying allowed? In theory, since timeseries can be based on datetime objects it should be possible to hanlde up to microsecond , is this correct? I think that this is not really clear to me. • Why would paperclip not assign an ID to my uploaded photos?

  I just deployed to a cluster server, and my delayed_jobs recipe was overwritten in the process. I solved that, delayed_jobs is up and running but can't find the ID of images that are uploaded. Anyone know where I could poke and pry from here? UPDATE: I created a clone application on a single server. And there are no problems. The images on the cluster do show up (occassionally). If I keep clicking on the folders that lead to photos, it will 50% of the time return a 404 with it not being able to find the photo, and the other half it will present the photo. So the problem has got to be with the server interaction between the ActiveRecord through multiple servers.
